Tips for giving the presentations

²         Enthusiasm – Nothing will help your presentation more than communicating your passion and confidence.

²         Know your audience

²         Maintain eye contact – don’t look down.

²         Face your audience. Talk to your audience, not to your monitor.

²         Stand beside monitor, not in front of it.

²         Be organized

²         Make materials available; make yourself available.

²         Pay attention to the non-verbal signals your audience is giving you and adjust your presentation accordingly.

²         The words you select will dramatically impact your audience’s reaction – to both your ideas and your effectiveness as a presenter.

²         The right amount of humor – drop in your humor where it fits and keep your audience interested and attentive.

²         Encourage audience to ask questions throughout.

²         When you have finished the presentation, thank the audience.
