Introduction

This task is designed for English lessons for Primary 6 students. The lesson is about 4 families of a Western Orchestra.

It will take around 2 weeks for conducting this project. Students are required to carry out discussions, gather useful information, conduct interviews, organize the information and prepare a 15 minutes presentation in English. Thus, students need to use to the four language skills: Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking, in order to accomplish the project. Moreover, interviewing skill, cooperation skill and organization skill are also required. Teachers may need to provide students with the language needed.

Besides collecting and organize information, students are also required to show their schoolmates how a family of musical instruments is attractive. This way, they are trained to gather suitable information to achieve a purpose.
